Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Dr. Karlin graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, which is the first dental school in the world! Dr. Karlin enjoys all aspects of dentistry and his goal is to provide a positive experience for all patients. The office utilizes the most up-to-date technology, including 3D imaging which allows us to see your entire mouth. We work together with our patients in order to achieve and maintain healthy teeth and gums. When Dr. Karlin is not practicing dentistry, you can find him enjoying the natural beauty here in Arizona. He leads an active lifestyle, and his favorite sports include hiking, biking or playing pickleball.

Dr Daniel Karlin

Periodontist

Dr. Daniel Karlin is a board certified periodontist.He graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School in 1986 and participated in a General Practice Residency from 1986-1987 at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Subsequently, he was a resident in Periodontics at the University of Maryland from 1998-1990. Dr. Karlin worked in private practice as a periodontist from 1990-2020; where he managed and provided patient guided treatment in 2 offices in Maryland. Dr. Karlin emphasized both non-surgical and surgical therapies. He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and was a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry from 1997-2020. Dr. Karlin has lectured on various topics in periodontics at the Owings Mills Study Club.
